A Message from Arjune Patel, MD – Director of Hospitalist Recruitment

I’ve been a Hospitalist at CCPC since 2015 and have been involved in hospitalist recruiting since 2018. The physicians and advanced practice providers that comprise our group create a supportive and collegial environment second to none. I look forward to speaking with and meeting future colleagues to discuss our group.

Critical Care and Pulmonary Consultants (CCPC) is a large, physician-led multi-specialist practice providing hospital and clinic-based care throughout the Denver-metro area. We specialize in the pulmonary, critical care, hospitalist, and sleep medicine disciplines. We are seeking motivated hospitalists who provide high quality care and desire working in a supportive and collegial environment with similarly focused/driven providers. Read more about CCPC below and submit your CV and cover letter using the form at the bottom of this page.

Practice Locations

Our Hospitalists provide 24-hour inpatient coverage (both as a primary service and a consulting service) at four hospitals, as well as a consulting service at a long-term acute care hospital in metro Denver. Our locations include:

We also provide medical consulting services at two rehabilitation facilities, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and in Aurora, CO.

Our hospitalists encounter a wide variety of pathology caring for patients across a wide variety of socioeconomic states across the Denver metro area. We actively engage with our specialty/sub-specialty colleagues to provide the highest quality care for our patients.

Hospital Engagement

Our hospitalists occupy leadership roles at each of our hospitals and sit on hospital committees such as quality improvement, medical executive, and pharmacy and therapeutics. We work closely with emergency room physicians, staff physicians, consultants, nursing, pharmacy, and hospital administration to provide high quality care and optimize the patient experience during their hospital stay.

Why Work for CCPC?

Full-time hospitalists with CCPC work an average of 16 shifts per month. These are primarily inpatient day shifts, float or admitting shifts, and include some night shifts. We offer:

  • A competitive monthly salary in addition to a productivity-driven quarterly bonus distribution.

  • After three years as a full time employee, individuals may become a clinical partner with an accompanying increase in bonus pay.

  • A generous retirement plan with fully vested 401(K) and Money Purchase Plan contributions, which begin 1 and 2 years after employment, respectively. Retirement plans are fully vested upon contribution.

  • Competitive medical and dental benefits. Health insurance plans may be either PPO or HSA, depending upon individual and family preference.

Why does word-of-mouth attract so many providers to CCPC?
We value our entire team. But you don’t have to take our word for it.

Working at CCPC has enabled me to continue to grow well beyond my fellowship training.  I joined the practice in 2014 and have great respect for this team and in the level of care we provide our patients.

I joined CCPC in 2004 and have had a wonderful experience working with my physician partners and staff. The professionalism and mission to best serve our patients makes me grateful to be part of CCPC team.

One of the best parts of working at CCPC is the fabulous group of owners. Everyone making leadership decisions within our practice is a practicing physician. Every decision is made with providers in mind.

I am very grateful to be part of a community of physicians who not only provide top-notch care to their patients, but who are also invested in the well-being of their colleagues.
